Integrated Math 2 (Geometry)

(3 hours per week)

Course Description:  The Integrated Math 2 (Geometry) - Enrichment class would meet two days per week. Each tutoring session would last for 1.5 hours. The material covered would mirror what Mr. Summers used to teach in his Geometry – Honors class along with the new Integrated Math 2 standards. The difference would be no graded assignments such as tests or quizzes would be given. The five days of instruction that normally would go on in his classroom would be condensed to the three hours of instruction. This should be possible since formal testing will not be required. Some informal assessments will be given, and homework (if any) would be minimal.​


Focus:  The focus of the class is to teach the Integrated Math 2 (Geometry) standards and prepare students for the Integrated Math 2 TNReady exam. Some advanced geometry concepts will be covered as well.​

Intended Audience:  This class would be an excellent supplement to students currently enrolled in a geometry class or to Integrated Math I students wanting to experience geometry before actually taking the course.
