Pre-Calculus

(1.5 hours per week)

Course Description:  The Advanced Math/Pre-Calculus – Enrichment class would meet once per week. Each tutoring session would last for 1.5 hours each. The material covered would be the Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry standards with an introduction to Pre-Calculus. No graded assignments such as tests or quizzes would be given. Some informal assessments will be given, and homework (if any) would be minimal.
 
Focus:  The focus of the class is to teach the Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry standards along with an introduction to Pre-Calculus.

Intended Audience:  This class would be an excellent supplement to students currently enrolled in an Advanced Algebra or Pre-Calculus class or to Algebra 2 students wanting to experience Advanced Algebra/Pre-Calculus before actually taking the course.
